Once the base coat is applied, we broadcast the vinyl flake in the color of your choice. Our method ensures full rejection, meaning we apply more flake than the base coat can absorb. This ensures that the entire surface is evenly covered. After the base coat has cured, we thoroughly scrape off the excess vinyl flakes and vacuum the floor, resulting in a smooth and uniform finish.
To further enhance the floor’s appearance and texture, we take an extra step by lightly buffing the surface. This process removes any sharp edges, creating a refined, professional look while also improving comfort underfoot.
The final step is applying a protective cap coat over the vinyl flake. We use a polyaspartic topcoat because it is UV stable, meaning it won’t yellow or discolor over time due to sun exposure.
